Finland is famous for having one of the best education systems in the world. Yet if you look at the data of families, 50% families have no children and 12% are single parent households. Looks like there is a breakdown of the family structure happening there. Is this where we want to go? Will homeschooling help us escape this? Probably not at a societal level, given the way the world works today, but maybe individual homeschooling children can learn to create viable happy lives in the middle of all this chaos.
